This contains the Agere V.92 Modem driver for the Mini PCI Agere Win Modem installed in some models running Windows XP
(Note: Formerly referenced as the Compaq Mobile V.92 Modem or Lucent V.92 Win Modem

- Installs driver version 8.30

HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number
2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files. The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed. You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for the files, or default to the download directory
3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1
4. The modem setup program will be executed automatically when the Package for the Web application exits
If you want to re-run the modem setup program again or at a later time, go to the directory with the files the softpaq unbundled and run the setup program (SETUP.EXE) in that directory to install the modem drivers. (Windows 2000 users should use the setup program in the WinXP directory).
