Описание:PSC 900 Series Startup Delay Patch for HP PSC 950
Type: Patc
Important: If the PSC 900 Series software is NOT already installed or has been Uninstalled, install the software from the included CD-ROM by following the Setup Poster for your PSC 900 Series. Once installation has completed, restart your system and carefully follow the Patch Installation instructions detailed below.
If the PSC 900 Series software is already installed, you should use the following instructions to install the patch
Disable any active anti-virus software including, canceling any active dialog boxes associated with Norton Antivirus. The PSC 900 Series will not install properly with Norton Antivirus active. If installation is attempted (reconnecting the device in step 1 below) with Norton Antivirus running, then the user will need to uninstall the PSC 900 Series driver and reinstall.
Turn Off and Disconnect the HP PSC 900 Series.
Open the Windows Task Manager. Press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Delete] to activate the Task Manager
If active, select "hpocon07" from the list of running tasks and choose End Task. Another dialog box will appear to inform you that the task is Not Responding. Choose End Task.
Open the Windows Task Manager again. Press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Delete] to activate the Task Manager.
Select "hpobrt07" from the list of running tasks and choose End Task. Another dialog box will appear to inform you that the task is Not Responding. Choose End Task.
Open the Windows Task Manager one last time. Press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Delete] to activate the Task Manager.
Verify there are no other tasks running which begin with "hpoÂ…" in the task manager. If there are, end those tasks as well.
Run the patch by double-clicking the file: HpPSC900_StartupDelayFix.exe. This should be done by selecting the patch from the START -> RUN -> Browse method
Complete the dialogs for the patch and choose Finish at the completion of the installation.
SHUT DOWN your system, wait 10 seconds and turn on your system again
Note: It is important that you Shut Down your system, not just Restart it.
Reconnect the USB cable between the PSC 900 Series and your system and Turn On the PSC 900 Series. After about a minute wait, the HP Fax Setup Wizard window should appear.
Complete the Fax Setup Wizard dialogs.
Verify there is a printer icon in your System Tray (located in the far right corner of the taskbar). By hovering over it, you can determine the status of your PSC 900 Series.
