E-MU Xboard 25, Xboard 49, or Xboard 61
Before you install
If you have experienced a fault in any audio application, you should reboot Windows before applying this update
Exit all applications before installing these updates
This installer will automatically uninstall any older versions of software before installing the new version
E-MU Xboard Update V1.02 contains the following fixes
Firmware Fixes
Issues with the UART calibration on power-up have been fixed
Installation Instructions
To Install
Connect your Xboard and turn it on.
Open the .dmg file.
Double-click on the installer icon to begin the installation.
When the Firmware Updater dialog box appears, select the device you want to update, and click Update. Note: DO NOT unplug the Xboard during the firmware update.
Once calibration finishes, click Exit.
Note: A small number of Xboard 25/49 may encounter difficulties such as blank screen or incorrect knob response after installing the firmware. If you encounter this problem, you should re-initialize the Xboard's UART calibration.
